Can you really dream when you are awake? or does that mean it has to be real? I leave it to you to decide.
This is a short horror game loosely based around a reoccurring nightmare I had over 2 years ago. This project has been in the works for about a year and is the first thing I have ever made. I hope you enjoy it. Also the options and credits buttons don't work. I don't plan on fixing this.

It's good for a first game! Only downside is that movement was a bit wonky. And, I suppose it's too easy to rely on the darkness for scares, I switched on all the lights and they'd all be switched off later on by magic. I enjoyed the graphics in the mini game! And the whole game overall. You have weird dreams though :) Looking forward to more games about them!
Thanks, I mostly relied on the dark because it's hard to maneuver not having a model for him. But I am learning 3d modeling so the next game is hopefully scarier and relies less on just being dark.
Oh then it makes sense, please don't worry about it! My computer has a very bad brightness option which makes games in dark settings even darker. It's just that I'm one who gets frustrated by not being able to see, rather than scared, because I can't fear what I can't see.

this game is well made and actually got me a couple times witch never happens with itchio games the design looks cool and the machanicas are sound if you want to see my full playthrough here it is

Man, that dream must have effected you in some way haha, for gameplay experience I wouldnt say I was terrified but wow was I on my toes through this cause i was for sure creeped out. The 2D aspect was super cool! well done!

Option button does not work
Unfortunately the credits and options buttons don't work. The only way of fixing this would be completely to redo the way the main menu works which i just dont think is necessary for this short game

I can't reach the back of the sofa though :) furnitures block me
The hint doesn't point towards the back of the sofa. Try checking the corners of the room. Hope this helps.
